From the process of procuring the land to opening a 24-hour restaurant with over 30 staff in the outskirts of Westhill in 1990, the element of risk has been etched into the making of Alankar. At a time when everyone thought this project was eccentric and impossible, it was the sheer passion and determination of MR. ABDULLA KOYA that started it all. To provide first-class quality food at an affordable price to anyone who was at his restaurant, was MR. ABDULLAKOYA’S goal. Following in his father's footsteps, MR. UMARSHAD took the restaurant to the next level through constant renovation and expansion projects. Now the third generation of the Alankar family, MR. HAMALSHA has also joined in. He has been passionate about the growth of the restaurant so far. This father and son are now actively working on broadening their horizons and taming uncharted waters in the restaurant industry
